BAR SERVER

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic beverage room team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure food & beverage safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
• Handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies related to food handling and service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule

Duties

• Manage inventory levels and restock shelves to ensure product availability.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storage areas.
• Conduct merchandising activities, including product placement and display setup to attract customer attention.
• Handle cashiering duties accurately, including processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to uphold store standards.
• Support in unloading deliveries, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and organizing stock storage.
